The Grizzly Bear Diaries (formerly known as Bearly Surviving) has been published by Julius, the owner of Wild Bear Lodge, since 2006. It recounts the highs, lows and in-betweens of life off-grid in a British Columbia valley that is home to more grizzly bears than people. You can sign up to receive each new post here.

In Sept 2023 we will be running our second charity programme for wounded soldiers, this time for Ukrainian veterans with mental and physical injuries. To find out more see Wild Bear Vets 2023.
